The Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association is strongly oriented towards charitable endeavors. We seek to help, aid and assist many individuals and organizations and we engage in multiple and diverse fund-raising efforts to support this goal.
While not limited to these three activities, much of our energy is devoted to the following:
- The Annual Marvin Tarbox Memorial Ride
- The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers
- and we’re just starting with food assistance for Sarah’s House
You can read more about each of these at the pages we’ve devoted to them. Each year too, we provide charitable assistance to individuals beset by illness or loss.
Additionally we support all of the other Maine Widows Sons Chapters through participation in their fund-raising efforts as well as serving as the organizing chapter for two major fund-raising events each year: the Masonic Ride for the Brotherhood and the annual Widows Sons holiday party where we encourage donations of toys and supplies for the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers.
We truly enjoy the opportunity to serve others!
