The Low XII Riders Central Maine Chapter of the Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association (primarily Bangor and the surrounding area) welcomes you to our website. We’re a group of Master Masons who’ve banded together to more fully enjoy our hobby of motorcycle riding while emphasizing the tenets and principles of Freemasonry.
A group of brothers were at Sarah’s House for some dry walling. See the pictures.
Holiday Party is coming up – December 14th. Cost is $35/person which includes a really great buffet meal. You can sign up and pay online.
As in the past, the host chapter – Low XII Riders – asks that you consider bringing a toy, box of diapers, or something else to donate to one of the charities they support, the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers.
Also, due to liquor laws, please do NOT bring your own alcohol to this event.
We’ve added a way for you to pay your dues online again this year (though doing it at a meeting is preferable to save us the processing fees) .
We’ve got information on the state-wide holiday party coming right up. Hope you’ll be able to join us. It’s a great time!
Don’t forget our new address (PO Box 412, Brewer, ME 04412-0412) when sending things by mail – and finally, download and pass around our membership application: it’s here too!
7 September Great picture of the Low XII at the Mountain Chapter’s ride.
WOW! Our 2019 Tarbox Memorial Ride in Year #8 was by far stronger than ever before. 151 riders and passengers joined us on Sunday, June 2nd to raise funds for the Northern Maine Community College Foundation in honor of Mason & Shriner Marvin Tarbox who was tragically killed in an accident while performing with the Anah Shrine Motor Corps unit during a parade.
In addition, this year we also helped to raise funds for Donna Wiegle’s TEAL on WHEELS ovarian cancer awareness tour. Donna plans to ride cross-country to publicize the plight of women who are all too often misdiagnosed when suffering from this silent killer.
For those who are leaving from the Bangor area Sunday for the Tarbox ride let’s meet at the Tim Hortons on the Odlin Rd at 8AM. Chopstix will be leading you all down to Lygonia Lodge in Ellsworth
I’m heading to Ellsworth at 7AM so I can help with setting things up. If anybody else would like to help we can meet at Dysarts on Broadway at 7:10AM.
There will be breakfast sandwiches available at Lygonia Lodge before the ride and then a great lunch put on by Pleiades Lodge #173 in Milbridge where our very own Chopsticks is the current Master.
Registration starts at 8a.m., KSU 10a.m. $25 per bike. $15 per passenger.
